About Me

Hey everyone, I'm Katy and a busy Belfast-based working Mum of 5. I have been interested in health and fitness since my early twenties, when a new found love of boxing helped me to not only shed quite a few pounds, but develop a greater understanding of diet and nutrition, while meeting the most incredible group of like minded people (one of whom became my husband!) Roll on 2017, my first pregnancy and subsequent post natal recovery, when I quickly realised there was very little guidance out there around safe and structured fitness for pregnant and post natal mums.  It became such a passion and ambition of mine to help educate and empower mums, that I decided to take advantage of the break from my full time job during maternity leave, and attended classes at night to become qualified as a fitness instructor, circuits coach and specialist pre and post natal fitness and nutrition coach throughout the year. ​Through my MamaFit classes, I aim to provide support, confidence and knowledge to this ever increasing population of Superwomen, along with helping each person reach their goal. Whether it's getting fitter or stronger, guiding post natal recovery or just creating a healthy home to nurture your baby or building the confidence in your body to bring him or her into the world when the time comes, I can help.​So get in touch and find a class near you, what's stopping you?
